I live in Chadron, Nebraska.</p> <p>And I found out I had a bone density problem when I fell in April of 2018, while walking my dog and broke my ankle in four places. It required seven screws and two plates to repair it. I asked for a bone density test and it showed a significant loss in my spinal bone density since 2012, over 11%. I’m reading it ’cause I don’t have it memorized.</p> <p>I did some further research and I found AlgaeCal, thought I’d give it a try. There was only one hitch, and that was that I’m on thyroid medication, which can have an effect on a supplement. It could be that you’re taking it and it wouldn’t quite work.</p> <p>So I decided to try it anyway and combined it with making sure that my levels on the medication were stable, the thyroid medication that is, because it does fluctuate. And made sure that I timed, put an alarm on my cell phone to time the time I took it and hoped that it wouldn’t conflict with the supplements that I take.</p> <p>That being said, one year later I took my DEXA scan and the results were as follows:<br />• On the left hip, I went from a -2.6 to a -2.2.<br />• And on my right hip, I went from -2.1 to -2.0<br />• And there has been a 9.4% increase in bone mass.</p> <p>I found that to be very encouraging. So yeah, I was happy with it. And I wanted to share that with people because I don’t think I would have even given this a try if it hadn’t been for other persons who shared their stories on the website. And some of these people also took thyroid medication.</p> <p>That being said, I also combined this with exercise, Qigong, which is related to Tai Chi. And there’s a lot of weight-bearing exercise using one’s own weight as well. And that’s for 30 minutes a day, as well as alternating with a 30 minute a day exercise called Essentrics, which works on stretching your muscles and bones and making everything stronger.</p> <p>So I’m very happy with my results and I will continue to take AlgaeCal. Again, I wanna thank all those people that shared their videos. And I’m here to share my AlgaeCal story with you.</p> <p>About one year ago, I had a DEXA scan. And when I sat down with my doctor to discuss the results, they weren’t good. So we needed to come up with a treatment plan together. And decide what I would be doing moving forward. What I did was a ton of research. And even spoke to a neighbour who recommended AlgaeCal. So I went back to the AlgaeCal site and I read even more and more and more about it. I talked to quite a few customer service reps who were fantastic. And at that point, I decided last February 2019, I was gonna try AlgaeCal. Fast forward one year, I just got my results from my new T-scans and are my new bone density. And I’d really like to share those with you. So last year, my left hip score was -2.3. And my lumbar spine T-score was -1.9. I’m happy to report that 2020, exactly one year after, my hips score is -1.5 And my spine T-score is -0.4. I am thrilled with these results. I am gonna continue to take AlgaeCal and Strontium Boost, which I actually wanted to mention a couple things about those. The way I have actually used Strontium and AlgaeCal for the last year is with pill counters. So at nighttime before bed, for my Strontium Boost, I have this total counter, so I know exactly how many are left for the week. And then for breakfast and right before dinner, I have this pill counter in my kitchen, so I know exactly what has been taken and what needs to be taken. Lastly, I read Your Bones, which was recommended on the AlgaeCal site. And I loved it. And it was very helpful. I live in Reno, Nevada. I wanted tell my story about AlgaeCal and hopefully I can bring hope to many other people who may be in the age category that I’m at .</p> <p>By the time I was 54, I was given a piece of paper with a T-score of -3.6. At 54 years old, it was devastating to say the least. So, I started researching and researching and researching and I came across AlgaeCal. AlgaeCal is the most unique formulary that there is on the planet. There is nothing like it. It is plant-based. It is so thoughtful. It contains all the trace minerals that your body needs. You’re taking algae and you’re not swallowing rocks. Cause I always took calcium regularly, faithfully and saw continued decline. So, I started about two years ago and faithfully take it everywhere I go with me. On trips, planes, in my pocket, to work, everywhere I go my AlgaeCal comes with me. About, just past October, I had my next scan and I was thrilled. I got the news on Christmas Eve that my bone density had increased 8% in my spine and 1.5% in my hips. Now, If I had a DEXA scan previous the year before my numbers, or two years before, they would have been even larger. But that’s beside the case. And for everybody out there who has been given devastating news and is running by fear that they might fall down and break their bones and that their life is going to stop. I am an extremely active person. Again, I’m only 55 years old, looking at 56. So, I am just thrilled that I brought my numbers down. I’m a 3.1 now. My hips are better. So, I would love to recommend AlgaeCal. Would I recommend it? I tell everybody. I tell people on planes. I tell people at work. I tell people at the grocery store. I’ve always been interested in health and I’ve been an avid walker and hiker and enjoy exercising in different ways. And about three years ago, I was out sledding with my grandchildren, and I injured my wrist. So, I went in to the doctor and they did X-rays, and fortunately, I had just sprained my wrist and had not broken it. But I was concerned because the doctor said it appeared I was having some setting of my bones.</p> <p>So he ordered a DEXA scan and I was pretty devastated to get the results that my T-scores were anywhere -2.3 to -2.4, and I was very concerned. And the only advice I got from the doctor was to take calcium and vitamin D3 and to do weight-bearing exercises and be walking. Well I was already walking about the equivalent of a 5K every morning, and was taking vitamin D3.</p> <p>So I added in calcium and took that for about a year and then just started doing more research online. And I found out about AlgaeCal, and about 15 months ago I started taking AlgaeCal and Strontium Boost. And about last summer my doctor had recommended that we do another DEXA scan. I wanted to wait and give the AlgaeCal a little bit more chance to work and he agreed with that.</p> <p>So I just had my second DEXA scan, and I was just thrilled that all of my T-scores were -1.8, and that meant an improvement of over 8% to my spine, 9% to my hip, and I was just thrilled.</p> <p>And I’ve kept up my exercising, and go to an aerobics class a couple of times a week and do some weightlifting as well as with my walking. But now I feel like I’m on a good path. I’m an active 53-year-old, a mother of four grown boys, and I had my first DEXA scan back in October of 2018. And I was upset to learn that even though as active as I am, my T-scores were, lumbar spine was a -2.7, my left femoral neck was -2.1, my left hip was a -1.6.</p> <p>I started looking for other alternatives, preferably something natural, and that’s when I found AlgaeCal. The only other thing that I’ve incorporated into my routine besides the AlgaeCal supplements is splitting my 3 to 4 mile daily walks into walking and running, about half and half.
