Do you really need supplements?

 When you reach for that bottle of vitamins in the grocery store, do you wonder if you should buy it or eat more vegetables instead?

Government sponsored research has found large scale deficiencies in many nutrients in the general population, including: omega-3 fats, vitamin D, folate, zinc, magnesium, and iron.

So why are we so depleted in nutrients in a time when we have access to a greater variety of food than ever?

1. Depleted Soil 

Wild crops contain dramatically higher levels of vitamins, minerals, and essential fats. The animals and vegetables we eat today contain fewer nutrients.
