AlgaeCal and your pH Levels

For a great visual demonstration of the powerful alkalizing effect of the minerals found in AlgaeCal, please take the time to stir a teaspoon of AlgaeCal into a ½ cup of vinegar.

If you have some pH paper you will see the vinegar starts out at a very acidic pH of approximately 2.  A minute after adding AlgaeCal it will be at pH 6.   Even without litmus paper the visible bubbling that ensues is evidence of the chemical reaction.

Each point on the pH scale represents a 10 times difference, so a change in pH from 2 to 6 is 4 points which represents a 40 times change - or 4000% difference in pH.  The high mineral content of AlgaeCal alkalizes quickly and powerfully.
