AlgaeCal International was registered as a US company in April 2002, with offices in Las Vegas, Nevada and Vancouver, Canada.  In 2004 we acquired the worldwide exclusive rights to distribute the marine algae we have trademarked "AlgaeCal®".  We have since applied for worldwide patents as the world's first pure plant sourced calcium, conducted laboratory tests and commissioned a significant clinical trial in preparation for taking this exciting new ingredient to market.

AlgaeCal outsources it's product manufacturing, warehousing and fulfillment so it has less than 10 full time employees.  AlgaeCal has been receiving a warm reception at it's first trade shows in 2006 and we are poised for strong growth as an ingredient for functional foods and supplements.
